Goals, goals, goals!

All right, I’ve been dancing around the idea of setting some goals for this fat eviction thing. Originally, I said I didn’t want to set a particular goal because… well, I don’t really know how I’ll feel at which weight.

In the interests of full disclosure, I think that may have been… a lie. I think I didn’t want to state a goal because if I didn’t state a goal, then I can’t miss it, right? And I wasn’t too sure about my odds. So I was trying to save face. But I’m ready to set some real, live goals. And I’m ready to share ‘em, because what’s the point of keeping ‘em secret, yes?

I’m not going to put dates around all of these, because I just don’t know how the number on the scale is going to fall. And I’m not going to live by these, either: I reserve the right to change my mind (for example, if I find that running is really hard on me, I might pass on the idea of running a 5K). But full transparency applies: if I change my mind, I’ll let you know.

However, I need your help: with each goal met, there should be a reward. Obviously, I don’t want to reward myself with food – although part of me would love to get the sweet treat of my choice for each 20 lbs I lose, it just seems counterproductive. And I’m not exactly dripping with filthy lucre, so economy needs to factor in here. So please chime in with your thoughts!

  1. Here are some of the rewards I am giving myself for reaching certain goals:

    Manicure
    Pedicure
    Massage 30 mins
    Massage 1 hour
    Facial
    New Phone (I wanna upgrade)
    New Ring

That is all I have now and what I have listed is not in the order I have my goals set….

    Hope this helps….
Don’t ask me where you should put them on your goals list… LOL
